A-104Priced scope

Your side of the loop

The grid your evening in Excel was trying to be.

Quantities, your rates, section totals — and on every line, where the number came from. This document is internal. Your client sees the quote you build from it.

14 days from approval, card required, cancel before it ends. A person reads every application, usually the same day.

Friday night

The spreadsheet only one person can open

It works, until the estimator is on leave, or a formula is overwritten, or last year’s file is copied for a job that is nothing like it. Nobody can say which cell came from a measurement and which came from memory. The grid is fine; what a spreadsheet cannot carry is where each number came from.

The grid

Sections, lines, quantities, your rates

Trade sections down the side, quantity and unit and rate across, totals rolling up as you type. It is dense on a laptop and it stacks into cards on a phone, because the person checking a line on site is not carrying a laptop.

Provenance

Every line says where its number came from

Client-reported, contractor-measured, taken from a drawing, or drafted for review. The chip sits on the line, not in a note somewhere else. When someone asks why the tiling quantity moved between two versions, the answer is on the line rather than in a person’s memory.

Your rate card

Your rates, not a market average

Rates come from your card: your labour, your subcontractors, your supplier terms. Briked does not average other companies into your prices and does not show your card to anyone else. Update a rate once and every scope you build afterwards uses it.

One moment, two views

A line is questioned

Your client never opens the priced scope. They ask about a line in the quote; you answer from the line behind it, in the same minute, without opening a spreadsheet.

What Briked records

Versions, edits and who made them

Every edit is kept with the person who made it and the moment they did. Freeze a version and it stops moving; the quote you send points at that frozen version, so a scope that changes afterwards cannot quietly change what your client already accepted.

General notes

  1. An indicative range is a range, not a price. Only the quote you send your client is a price.

  2. A person accepts every number before it leaves your company. Nothing drafted by AI becomes the record on its own.

  3. Your client never pays for Briked. Answering your scope link, reading your quote and accepting it are free for them, always.

  4. Your rates, your scopes and your clients stay yours. We never show one contractor’s work to another. Read the data promise

  5. The trial runs 14 days from the day we approve your application. A card is required to start it. Trial terms

Common questions

Does my client see the priced scope?

No. It is your internal document. Your client reads the quote you build from it, at the level of detail you choose.

Can I bring my own rates in?

Yes. Your rate card is yours to load and to edit, and it is the pricing truth Briked uses for your work.

What happens to a line Briked drafted?

It sits under the amber rail as a draft until a person on your team accepts it. A draft never becomes a number in a quote on its own.

Can two people work on the same scope?

Yes. Office seats are per person, and every edit is attributed to whoever made it.

Does it handle provisional sums and prelims?

They are sections like any other, with their own lines and their own setting for how much of them the client sees.

What about a variation later?

A variation reuses the same grid and the same accept step, so the change carries the same record as the original scope.

Scope it, quote it, get it accepted — on your next job, with your rates.
