Our data promise

Your rates, your quotes, your pricing stay private by default — never visible to a company you haven't invited onto your project. We don't sell raw pricing data to anyone, for any reason.

Every company's data sits behind tenant-isolated database rules (row-level security) — a company with no relationship to your project is technically incapable of ever seeing your rows. The one deliberate exception is a subcontractor you assign to a specific work package: they see that package's own scope and rates, so they can quote against it — nothing else in your account. And there's no feature anywhere in the product that exports or sells a company's raw pricing data to a third party — we make money from subscriptions, not from your data.

If Briked ever shows you a reference figure built from other contractors' data, it's never built from a single company — publishing requires multiple companies to contribute, with a default minimum of 5.

A pooled figure is computed only once a minimum number of distinct companies have contributed to that exact data point in that period — 5 is the default our code ships with today, and that default is pinned by an automated test. That minimum can be configured, down to a floor of 2 or higher, and the threshold actually used is recorded against the batch. Below whichever threshold is active, a figure is held back rather than published — it releases on the next daily run once enough companies have contributed within that period — so expect up to a day's lag, not an instant switch, and a period that never reaches the threshold simply stays unpublished.

You'll choose whether your numbers count toward any shared benchmark, and a pooled figure won't be built from data newer than a quarter old.

Today, your priced-scope data is already eligible for the pooling job that builds these figures, with no opt-in or opt-out step yet — the contributor threshold above (5 by default, configurable down to a floor of 2) is the only current safeguard. We haven't shipped the consent control or the minimum-age window yet. Until we do, treat any reference figure you see in the product as a general market signal, not a personalized readout tied to your account.

You can ask for a complete export of your data at any time, and we'll delete it if you close your account.

Self-serve export and deletion tools aren't built yet — ask us directly and we'll handle it by hand. A self-serve version is planned.
