Terms of service

The agreement is between Briked and the company that opens the account. This page publishes its shape and the commercial facts we already state beside every button on this site; the wording itself is with counsel.

14 days from approval, card required, cancel before it ends. A person reads every application, usually the same day.

Who this is between

Briked and the company that opens the account

Not between Briked and your client. Someone who opens a scope link, answers questions or reads a quote is using something you sent them: they pay nothing, they open no account, and they agree to nothing here. What covers them is a separate, much shorter notice, and counsel is drafting it.

The trial

Four facts that matter more than any clause

They are printed beside every button on this site and they do not change in the small print: the trial starts with an application, a card is required to open it, nothing is charged before day 15, and cancelling before day 15 costs nothing. The clause wording will say this at greater length and mean the same thing.

  1. It starts with an application. A person reads it.
  2. A card is required to open the trial.
  3. Nothing is charged before day 15. Then the plan you chose starts.
  4. Cancel any time before day 15 and pay nothing.
The same four lines that sit under the trial button.

Your work

Your rates, your scopes and your clients stay yours

Briked holds them to run your account and for nothing else. We do not show one contractor's work to another. The clauses that turn a promise into an obligation — ownership, licence, what happens to your data when you leave and how you take it with you — are with counsel; the promise itself is already published and does not wait on them.

The limits

What Briked does not do

It does not price your job for you, check your work against a building code, or stand behind a figure you sent. It builds a scope from your answers and your rates, and a person in your company accepts every number before it leaves. Your client is relying on that person — which is the whole design, not a disclaimer.

Acceptance

What the record actually contains

When a client accepts — a click, then a 6-digit code sent to their phone — Briked records who accepted, when, from which link, and which version of the document they were looking at, and keeps that record on your account. What the record is worth in a dispute is a legal question, and it is the one thing on this page we will not answer ourselves.

Still to come

The clauses that are not written yet

Everything above is either a description of how Briked works or a commercial fact already published elsewhere. The clauses that carry legal weight are not ours to draft, so they are blank rather than borrowed. The list below is what will be here, and this page is not the agreement until it is.

Awaiting counsel

Still with counsel

Every line below is a clause this page will contain. None of them is written yet, and we would rather show you the gap than fill it with a template.

  • Cancelling, notice, and what happens to your account afterwards
  • How long you can still export your work after you leave
  • Limits of liability and what each side is responsible for
  • What an account may and may not be used for
  • The services Briked relies on to deliver the product
  • How changes to these terms are made and announced
  • Governing law and where disputes are heard

Scope it, quote it, get it accepted — on your next job, with your rates.
