Before the document
The quote is the fifth step, not the first
By the time a quote is a document, the decisions are already made: what is in scope, who measured it, which rate applied and what the client actually asked for. Briked is built along that order rather than around the document at the end of it. Each step hands its work to the next, so a quantity is entered once and travels — with its source attached — into the quote and the contract.

Six questions to ask before you buy anything
None of these are about speed, and none of them have a right answer for every company. They are the questions that decide whether a tool survives contact with a UAE renovation job: who does the typing, what your client has to sign up for, which currency and tax basis the numbers carry, what language they are read in, and what is left on the file when a line is disputed.

One quote, read in the language your client reads
Your office may work in English. Your client may not. In Briked the Arabic quote is not a copy translated afterwards: the sections, units and terms carry both languages, and the page mirrors itself right-to-left for an Arabic reader. Your client reads a version they can check line by line. You read the one your estimator wrote.

The honest column
What Briked does not do
There is no accounting in it, no payroll, no scheduling board and no procurement. It is built for renovation and fit-out work in the UAE, so a marine contractor or a facilities-management company will find the scope model asks them the wrong questions. And if your problem is invoices going out late rather than quotes going out late, a bookkeeping tool will serve you better than this one.
No accounting
Invoices, VAT returns and your books stay where they are. Briked stops at the accepted contract and the milestones that come from it.
No scheduling board
No programme chart and no crew planner. If you already run planning software, keep it.

What is left on the file when the job is done
Every version you sent, the one your client opened, the moment they accepted and the code they used stay on the job — not in somebody’s inbox. When a line is questioned in week ten, you open the job and read what was agreed, in the words your client saw. That is what verifiable means here: not that a number was right, but that its history is legible.

An indicative range is a range, not a price. Only the quote you send your client is a price.
A person accepts every number before it leaves your company. Nothing drafted by AI becomes the record on its own.

Common questions
Is Briked quoting software or estimating software?
Both ends of the same job. It builds a priced scope from what your client tells you and what your rate card says, then turns that into the quote you send and the contract they accept. There is no separate estimating file to keep in step.
Do I need drawings to use it?
No. The scope link starts from questions a client can answer without a drawing. If you have a drawing set, quantities taken from it land against the same scope rather than in a second document.
Does it work in Arabic?
Yes, on both sides. Your client can answer the scope link and read the quote in Arabic, right-to-left, while your office keeps working in English.
How does VAT appear on a quote?
Every figure states whether it is shown before or after VAT, and you choose which your client sees. Briked does not file your returns; that stays with your accountant.
Can I use my own rates?
Yes, and you should. Your rate card is imported from your own spreadsheet, stays private to your company, and is what every priced scope is built from.
What does it cost?
Plans are on the pricing page, in AED and stated before VAT. Office seats are counted; field seats are free and unlimited. Your client is never billed for anything.
How does a client accept a quote?
They open the link you sent, read the quote, tap accept and enter a 6-digit code sent to their phone. Who accepted, when, and which version are recorded on the job.
How do I try it?
Trials are by application. You apply, a person at Briked reads it, and the 14 days start when we approve you. A card is required to open the trial, and nothing is charged before day 15.
